Amy Somerstein is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Qualified Supervisor in the state of Maryland and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. She earned her Master's of Science in Counselor Education, specializing in Clinical Mental Health, from Florida International University.

Amy is the founder and owner of Holistic Healing Counseling Center. Prior to starting her own business, she worked in private practice, hospital, community, and school settings. Amy's diverse working experience allows her to connect with clients from varied backgrounds.

Amy provides individual services to adolescents and adults. She specializes in helping clients through adjustments and life transitions.

Many times, life brings about challenges that may lead to anxiety, depression, grief, health concerns, or trauma. Amy utilizes an eclectic approach to treatment, which includes client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, holistic therapy, meditation and mindfulness, play therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

Amy provides her clients with a safe space for self-exploration. She offers an empathetic ear while providing tools to bring about change.
